Review of the Lakai Pico

Lakai Pico Review

Ok so ive been wanting to write a review about these Lakai Pico for a while now.
I first got these shoes as a sample pair, pictured below.  This pic was taken when I first got them, nice and fresh!

Now this is only my view on these shoes as everyone is different and different things work for different people.
So first impressions when I put these on was they fit your feet really well, sort of hug your foot.  They have a nice medium padded tongue that has elastic centering straps, which got a thumbs up straight away from me!  I hate it when the tongues slip down one side of your foot!
They have a nice low profile sole that is nice and flexible straight out of the box, so no break in time required, another thumbs up!
The inner sole is amazing, just the right amount at the front and a bit thicker towards the back to help prevent heel bruise.

On the board they have amazing board feel and a good amount of grip as you would expect from a vulcanized shoe.
But really I cannot believe how long these are lasting!  I think roughly I have skated these for about 100 hours and in the below pic you can see how they have held up!

I have had to change the laces, but only once.

These are the only holes that have appeared so far, in the main from heelflip variations.

And this is how the toe is holding up after kickflips and 360 flips.

I would highly recommend these shoes, if you want something that skates well out the box, are really comfy and lasts for ages.  These are well worth the money.

The next pair of shoes that I will be doing a review on are the Lakai Vincent, so keep an eye out for that one.

My favourite Lakai shoe ever though has to be the original Kingston, they were like slippers, they were so comfy!  anyone remember them?

My name is Adam, and I am a 36 year old skateboarder from the UK.
