Ok so I definately would not be skateing as much as I do if it wasn't for my local indoor park, Empire skatepark in colchester, mainly because of my self confidence. You see even though im a ripe old age of 36 im quite nervous about being in public places ie outdoor parks especially when im on my own. I think this stems from a certain amount of bullying at school which still affects me to this day. Anyway as I have Empire skatepark just a 20 min drive from me this is awesome because theres always someone there and everyone is always really friendly and down for the same thing, having fun in a safe place with no attitude.
So I would like to take this opportunity to say thanks to all the guys that make this place so rad, and I will carry on supporting you as much as I can.
If you have never been to Empire skatepark you defo need to check it out, they also have a shop where you can get all your skateboard related goodies and food and drink. And theres always some good tunes playing.
