So its been a weird few days to be honest, over the weekend i really put in the effort to re learn the good old 360 flip, which i havnt been able to do for about 10 years! It was back to the old skinny 7.5 inch wide deck for this as its thinner and lighter thought it would help my old man legs to get the motion better.
After what seemed about 1000 trys I actually landed a clean one and I was so stoked about it, and my little boy was going crazy, shouting and screaming that i had done it. So you know what happened next, yes i had to try and get another, and this is when something strange happened, i learnt a new trick which was a varial flip body varial, to say i surprised myself was an understatement, i never thought for one minute that i would beable to do a trick like that it was amazing! Especially as i have never been able to do even just a varial flip!
So anyway at the grand age of 36 I now have 360 flips back on lock and a new trick in the bag, so never give up guys you just never know what you can learn and do. 😃
